Shannons partners with S5000 Tasman Series
Shannons, Australia’s leading insurer for motoring enthusiasts, has joined forces with S5000 as the title partner of the upcoming seven-race Tasman Series.
The Shannons S5000 Tasman Series commences this week at Sydney Motorsport Park before concluding with four races at the iconic Mount Panorama circuit at the Bathurst 1000 in December.
The familiar Shannons ‘shield’ and branding will appear on the nosecone and rear wing endplates of every car competing in the series.
Shannons’ partnership with S5000 compliments the brand’s extensive and long-running involvement in motorsport, which includes naming rights of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships and a series partnership with the Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters Series.
In addition to its title partnership of the S5000 Tasman Series, the Shannons brand will also be seen trackside throughout the November 30 – December 5 Bathurst 1000 event with significant branding at Hell Corner, the iconic first turn of the Mount Panorama circuit.
The Shannons S5000 Tasman Series, which will include a mixture of Australian and International drivers battling for a $50,000 prize fund and the iconic Tasman Cup trophy, commences with a pre-season test at Sydney Motorsport Park this Thursday.
Racing from Sydney and Mount Panorama will be broadcast live on a combination of the Seven Network, Fox Sports and Kayo Sports.
