S5000 laps at The Bend for Tasman contenders
S5000 Tasman Series contenders will gain some valuable pre-series laps this weekend at The Bend Motorsport Park’s AutoFest event.
Mark Rosser, who will drive for Team BRM at both the Gold Coast and the VALO Adelaide 500, and Sebastian Amadio – who will race in Adelaide only – will both compete in The Bend Classic this weekend, going head to head with some serious machinery in an against-the-clock battle.
Amadio competed in The Bend Classic last year and finished second outright to Yasser Shahin’s Formula Renault 3.5 V8 in an impressive performance.
This weekend Shahin will return, while they will also likely take on Sam Shahin in his Benneton Formula One car.
Both cars will run this weekend as Rosser looks towards his S5000 debut on the Gold Coast and Amadio continues to build experience ahead of his return on the Adelaide streets in December.
Rosser is using the occasion to showcase the bright livery on his Team BRM machine this weekend.
