Tickets for Sydney Motorsport Park S5000 round on sale now

Tickets for the first round of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championship, featuring the all-new Australian S5000 Championship, are on sale now.

To be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on March 27-29, the event will feature seven top line race categories, including Round 2 of the S5000s following their inaugural round at the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix.

Also on a packed card at the Sydney circuit will be the carsales TCR Australia Series, Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia (formerly GT3 Cup Challenge), Touring Car Masters, Trans Am Series, LMP3 and the V8 Touring Car Series.

General admission ticket holders will be able to bring a child under 16 in for free.

Sydney Motorsport Park is considered somewhat of a ‘home’ track for the S5000s. In November 2018, the first S5000 was unveiled to the world at the media and competitor launch. The cars also tested there at last year’s Shannons event (pictured) and a handful of cars tested there in September last year in the build up to the non-championship races last year.
