Elf Racing Fuels to power Supercheap Auto TCR Australia and S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship

Elf Racing Fuels has been confirmed as the new control fuel for both the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia and S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championships in 2023.

The deal is an extension of Elf’s Racing Fuel’s deal within the Shannons SpeedSeries categories that also includes the Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS.

Supercheap Auto TCR Australia will use Elf Race TCR fuel – a blend of fuel that meets the stringent Balance of Performance requirements set by the category promoter WSC. It comes at an exciting time as the TCR World Tour will contest two rounds down under towards the end of the season.

For S5000, a test run of Elf Race 102 during S5000 demonstration runs at the 2022 Supercheap Auto Bathurst International received positive feedback from the driver James Golding and the Garry Rogers Motorsport personnel as a lap time of 1m59.264s was achieved going under the previous outright record.

All Elf Racing Fuel products are distributed by Melbourne-based RaceFuels.

As a supplier to race categories in New Zealand and Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS in addition to the Bathurst 12 Hour, RaceFuels is excited to put this experience into practice when the TCR World Tour arrives later this year.

The opening round of the Shannons SpeedSeries is AWC Race Tasmania to be held on February 24-26.

“We have committed to stocks and access to the product, which includes the additional international competitors set to arrive in Australia for the TCR World Tour, a prospect RaceFuels is excited by the concept.

“Coming off the Bathurst 12 Hour last week, RaceFuels is prepared for these international events and Elf was proven to be a great product, which meets the Balance of Performance requirements of overseas promoters.

“Elf Race 102 was tested at Bathurst last year by James Golding in the S5000 test runs where he and GRM provided positive feedback as a suitable fuel to be used in the category.

“We have Elf Race 102 on bowsers at Sydney Motorsport Park, The Bend and our HQ in Dandenong, we supply in drums to Winton, with more bowsers to be rolled out across Australia soon.
